You're doing pretty good, I can't really tell you how to improve your skills. The only thing I can say is do TONS of tutorials and just mess around alot in photoshop. Playing around with the effects and learning what they do. You're doing pretty good for a beginner, it has kind of a clean feel to it. Well keep trying and have fun. Good luck!

My personal opioin is to get a different colour as the font. And a boreder, yeah. Alot better than I expected Conan. Good....... job......

Try different effects, don't "recycle" old projects. It usually doesn't turn out well.

hey conan, let me just share with you from my mounds of experience, use guides and "snap" marquis to them. you can make sweet borders that way (its what i did)

i have a question. how do you preserve transparency while saving to gif?

Congrats! Looks like your coming along very well. Some things I'd suggest is learn to use lighting. You can make pretty much anything look fancy with a little snazzy lighting. There are some tutorials that can get a little in depth, but have amazingly beautiful products. Err, how can me not having something effect how my oppionion to his sig is? I mean it's not like I get ps and all of a sudden I can tell him how to make it better. You can make a sig with anything.

Looking good Conan. A lot better than I did when I started using Photoshop. I just hope I´d have Fam´s L337 über Photoshop h4x0rz skills. Oh well, I can always dream.

Yes.

Oh, and conan, take that "accident" image you made, then do a radial zoom blur of 60, image adjust colors, and make the top of the input range 60.

You should get an effect similar to that in my sig.
