Continuing his trend of sticking his nose where it doesn't belong, Bill Gates is planning to release his first anime onto the unsuspecting world populus. He also plans to own a controlling interest in all major anime companies so that he may further influence the global market.
No not really...
They're characters from the 2chan image board which are based on operating systems. If I recall correctly they go something like this:
Win98SE = The box
Win98 = Girl inside the box
Win3.1 = Little white square
DOS = Little black box
Win95 = Chick in kimono
WinME = Green haired chick
WinXP = Chick with XP in her hair
Win2000 = Girl with glasses in front of Norton
Norton = Bald guy
WinCE = Fairy
Saba = Girl getting attacked by cat
WinNT = Girl looking blankly into space...
Though I could be right off.
There are Linux and Macintosh characters....
And yes this is an actual series.
And yes it is called Trouble Windows

The scan appears as though it comes from an anime magazine called Newtype, but it lists the homepage for the series as 2chan (Which is the picture BBS and not a real company)
However if it's a hoax, a great deal of effort has gone into this page creation... more info as I get it.
