The editing is very well done, but the main action could have been a little bit better.

As i said before, it's by the band Rhapsody. The song is the title track from the 2000 album "Dawn of Victory".

They're excessively cheesey as a whole, very over the top, but the music isn't actually too bad, for spandex-wearing, sword-swinging power metal.

A lot of it is from scrims.

You couldve cut it down by not having such a long intro, and by only showing the high quality pwnage pics.

    The good:

Panning scenery shots - the maps ARE cool looking!

The music... me likey.

A desperate heavy kills like 6 skulks at once with a shotty while being hit by an onos and fade and then manages to reload and blast another skulk. That one was cool.

The lone skulking of a heavy.

The slow mo midair shotgun.

Knives are always fun.

The huge rr marine shot, and even better the huge lerk shot. ~15 lerks flying around - that was money!

The billion skulks jumping on the one heavy. Even though it was a little cheesy.

    The bad:

A heavy owning skulks with an hmg. What else do you expect? A jetpacker owning skulks. Ho hum. Shotgunning skulks aint to impressive either...

The focus kills in combat. Those aren't too special either. (~8 of them in a row though is pretty impressive).

The cheesy scenes like when the jper flys through a lamed up map. Like when the guy kills 8 skulks clustered under him with an explosive pistol shot?

Credits and intro too damn long!

I liked it, but boondocks still owns the hell out of it.

That video owned, dude. Can we get a link to part 1? That and FragOrDie are the two best and coolest frag videos I think I have every seen, and those two are certainly damn cool, dude. ^_^

Ugh if you own skulks with big weapons or not, IT LOOKS COOL!

stop whining about their skills on ns, just like the movie as it is...
  • morphzmorphz Join Date: 2003-04-19 Member: 15640Members, Constellation
Its decent because its not mainly about how PROZOR THEIR SKILLZ are, its good to have some cool frags in, but its just a awesome "Movie", not FRAGmovie.

Nice editing, a little too much "showing off plugins" and a little too much "showing off owning" - it diddnt quite Catch the NS(essence) that the game holds..

Could have done with a couple more slower bits... rather than speeded up (which most of the vid was tbh)

    al-in-all, a v-good vid and a gr8 effort,

    everyones gotta start somwhere...

I wanted to see that HA guy take on all those skulks

    I'd do it..if I had a HMG anyways

    Awsome movie.

I like how they added in the spectating parts. Looked really cool.

Text effects were kinda cheesy but A+ other then that. They must have taken a while to make...

Really shows alot of the exciting moments in NS.

"Amoury upgrading..." *remembers the days when you couldnt get ammo when it was upgrading and thier would some time be 2 ammouries in the same room beside each other... It was hell trying to get marines to leave...

Yeah give the link to Boondock marines, i've heard the hype i want to see if it lives up to it.

I agree. Excellent music and some superb effects make it worth watching, but there isn't really anything that great about seeing a ha/hmg kill 5 skulks in processing or a single sg/la take down a stupid fade (etc.)

The credit roll and the swarm of lerks are especially good looking

Dude how dare you call this Masterpiece a lame effort of skill, do i see you doing this stuff for free?

Not being funny mate but who cares about if hes using an aimbot of somekind (clearly he is not! he shakes mouse to know where things are around him), the fact is the damn movie is ace! The song matched with this video truly rules supremely and even matches the feeling and emotion of the scenes perfectly!

If you have any doubts on wether this is any good then you really need to get a psychiatrist to examine your personality because no one makes these videos rain everywhere, these are rare and should be treated with respect and damn good applause and appreciation that they are willing to even show us this.

To the makers and staff that created this video, i bow down to you and request to kiss your feet. You truly are "Experts" and a very rare breed of computer users that deserve far more than anyone here can give (which didnt seem to appreaciative in this case).

May i ask, if you view this topic again, would you mind posting a "Donate" link?
You deserve reward for your superior skills and kindness.

I am not being a "suck up", i just think that other people need to see what difficult programming and knowledge and time went into this fine art of a video.

If u hate this video, you need to be
