Wouldn't a World War II Tommy Gun look a bit odd in a futuristic game?

There have been several concepts and models floating around there from past attempts of making thompsons. Myself I have made a futuristic 1700poly version of the weapon but it has never been uv-mapped and therefore not skinned animated and released.

All this talk of WW2 guns made me think - can we get a gun with a bayonet? I realise that since there isn't a secondary fire button the bayonet would only be decorative.

i think he should go with the tommy gun look, he has a thompson model there.

the tommy gun had the forward undergrip and the drum feed, with the longer barrle and everything made of brass and wood.

    very 1930's

other then that, i dont see the point of adding a scope or a plated metal clip, looks like someone found it in a pond shop and suped it up

you know that the timmy and the thompson are the same guns right?

only difference is the type of clip you use...

I prefer the M1A1 Thompson over the 1928 Thompson

and not much has changed from the original design tho its a nice concept <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Putting a scope like that is a big no-no, you'll need a sight rail or the scope would just fall off.
