mmmm, man this stuff is secsky! im ready for this to be out! weeeee. alright anyways...i like the old NES model some one made, and if you use it i have an idea that could bring back some fond memorys... remember back in the you were playing your good ole NES and the game started to feeze? you made it all the way to the last level and it freezes, or the 15 min it took to get a game working right, all you could do was take the game out and blow in it... didnt work, take it out and blow in it some more! lol, maybe that can be out in some how...

ROFL, how'd you manage that one? Anywho, if you dont feel like doin it, would you kindly send me the model (in a format accepted by maya), as I would like to try meshing it.

why not make the res node model into one of the question mark boxes then have the resource point building as a mini mario or something similar constantly jumping under it <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

it got the mario uv maps as when i use lithunwrap, i have to use a special technique where i export the uv maps rather than saving the whole model, so it doesnt ruin my smoothing groups. i guess i was tired at the time and clicked on mario instead of plant, oh well.

anyway, what kinda filetypes does maya support apart from obj?

Have all the animations been done for that super scope model? And even if they haven't been done, are the hands just the default NS hands? I would like some cool mario hands to go with all the models.

we need to get some ideas on reloading guns i say the just go off screen for a bit then come back but lets see what others think
  • CoolCookieCooksCoolCookieCooks Pretty Girl Join Date: 2003-05-18 Member: 16446Members, NS1 Playtester, Contributor, Constellation
for the pistol you can shoot offscreen, the superscope has a battery flap at the back of the gun, how about he flips that down, batterys fall out, and he puts new ones in?

The Super Scope was used in Yoshi's Safari. Which was an awesome game. In game you saw Mario carrying around the Super Scope.

I'm pretty sure that the armory is one of the regular boxes from all the Mario games.

If you are going to make that shop, make it half the width, to fit the size of the armoury, you don't have to make it that wide, like a little booth for the shopkeeper.

why just not make the armory for example.. toad or some other mario char? it would have been much cooler <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo--> i like the post bout the questonmark box beeing res node <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->
