It's about one day in a guy's life who used to be involved with drugs (dealing them) and now is married, has a nice house and a respectable job. But this one thursday a bunch of people from his old life come back and get him involved again. A very dark comedy. A little hard to find but great. <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd-->
THAT'S IT! I saw that on TV one night a few years ago and could never remember what it was called. God, that movie was awesome...

The Animatrix was shown as selective cinema's.

Trust me. Final Flight of the Osiris on the big screen = amazing.

Also, Cowboy Bebop movie aired in Japanese cinema's and also saw a selected North America release (Yes, you missed the boat already people)

It's too bad KOHD wasn't as interesting as alot of the series eps. :/

I've noticed a bit of a trend in anime series movies...well...only in two.

Escaflownes movie was BAD, while the series is definatley in my top. 3 of all time. Anime or otherwise.

If you haven't seen it already then I recommend Kill Bill. I just watched it yesterday, now I'm going to the cinema as soon as the 2nd one is out.

I thought Memento was pretty big in theaters.

Edit: I've seen it on dvd and it seems like the type of movie that would make piles of bucks in theaters.

Leon: aka The Professional in the US version.

The origional Leon is my favorite movie of all time. Great themes and storylines and great cast.

Jean Reno, Natalie Portman, Gary Oldman, Danny Aiello.

    Also

Band of Brothers was an awsome WW2 movie mini series on HBO.
Wel casted and probably one of the ost historically accurate WW2 movies to date.

The Boondock Saints: Funny, good action, memorable characters.

Plunkett & Macleane: Awsome movie starring Robert Carlyle, Jonny Lee Miller and Liv Tyler.
Great based on a true story about two highwaymen (outlaws) from the mid Egnlish 1700s.

Oh oh. Plague Dogs. Animated movie, very dark. About a couple of dogs that escape from a government type place. One has his a big bald spot and stitches where they messed with his brain. Really weird, saw it when I was sleep deprived once and it hurt my brain. Link. <a href='http://www.plaguedogs.homestead.com/' target='_blank'>http://www.plaguedogs.homestead.com/</a> Oh yea, it's by the same guy that did Watership Down.
