4 and a half hour game on 3.0 ns nancy. reloc to sub, i was alien.
a sub relocate will almost guarantee rine victory.....but not this time....

2 and a half hours in, game was almost lost for aliens. 1 hive, dunno how we done it, broke into rine start and trashed everything. they reloc completly to sub, bought us time to get mother back. game went on for another hour or so.
in the end, a coordinated 4 onos 2 gorge 2 umbra lerk rush into sub under a hail of hmg fire from 8 rines FINALLY brough the game to a close.
nearly three hours probably, certainly not in 3.0 but i cant remember when. It would be on ns_nothing, us 'Rines relocated to the...er...Power Silo hive? If i got the right map, and this was the only time I ever saw a relocation to the upstairs bit actually last (well, last a coupla hours anyway <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo--> ) Mighty fun, especially as lots of the Kharaa had gone Onos and couldn't reach us. The jetpack army and phasegates literally between different parts of the ceiling....insane. Could never keep up the RT in the middle though...

Longest game was also one of my first, Ns_nancy, though I didn't know it at the time 1.04. Four and a half hours long... lots of fun, ambushing rines as a skulk especially in messhall... little did I know that I was actually doing the aliens a huge favor. Heh.. sometimes ignorance is bliss. :-)
Since 3.x, the longest games I've played have been about 75-95 minutes. Maps I've played that are prone to long games are tanith, caged, origin, and nothing. Caged takes longer for me b/c vent is always so hard to take down IMO. I almost ALWAYS have a strong battle when I try to take vent.
Longest game I've ever SEEN was on a.. err server ( cant remember the name ). Playing NS_Tanith, I joined it and played for about 1 hour, and exited again, and played CS for 1 hour with my fiancée, then I went back to NS, to the same server, and they were still playing! so I played for.. like 3 hours, and not much really happened, it was charge from alien, and then vice versa, none had any advantage. So I became bored, nothing happened, so I went to another NS server for like 2 hours, won, and went back to that old server, and they were STILL playing! So I played there for another hour until the admin restarted the server because of the stupid rines camping with a turret farm and GL's.
Wasnt there all the time, but that was an approx. 8 hour game!
