is a good place to grab demos of CAL matches.
Just spend some time watching the players and attempting to understand what they do.
i made that <b>ages</b> ago, i always ment to make another for 2.0 and now 3.0, but never got around to it.
i got alot of feedback from that, the demo basicly explained all the weapons/alien upgrades and some basic tactics(in my sexy scottish voice <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo--> ).
im going to make a new one this week or the next (if all goes well <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo--> )
Read the help that pops up for you each time.
And ask when you're in game.
Join a pub and play, play, play.
I played for about two weeks and I got it all down in that time.
Getting better is just part of the playing IMO.
You can't watch someone and have them transfer their skill to you.
As for being a super skulk, bunnyhop / leap bite is your only option <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
And a good way to learn is to master each alien race one by one.
And read the Gorge guides in here.. good basic info.
And when you get to lerk, fade, onos... it's a matter of preference IMO.
I hate using Onos on a CO map, but love it on NS maps when it comes to battle.
But nothing beats a super skulk for the first half of a CO map.
As for Marines, unless you wanna be a commander.. it's pretty much point and shoot. And building structures for your team.
