Some of the people are trying to tell me that its a NS problem. Its clearly not, even a cs'er came in the post and said he was noticing it too. I wish I could point this fool to the thirteen page long thread in the Beta Information forums; alas, only Vets and PTs get access to it. The general consensus was that the bug was definitely an HL issue, not an NS issue. It's a must-read for anyone curious about the bug.

Don't bother posting on Steam forums. Admins are nonexistent, sadly(litterally too: only 15 admins for it, and they all "Dissappeared" about 2 years ago. God that forum is awful, the colour really hurts, it's all the same. I would help but my excuse is the same as Jimmehs.
