Med I'd suggest taking out the movie dates at first. It makes it a bit too easy on some of them and also makes it googlable, put the dates in as the first clue.

Unfortunately folks, it's time for

thefinalscore
IN A QUEST TO BE NERD MASTER

Yes, that's right, I'm out of movies. My DVD player is acting up on my computer, and has chosen to ignore the presence of around ten of my DVDs in its drive. No matter what I do, it simply won't read them. Because of this, my movie quiz has to be cut short!

(( SCORES ))

dr.d = 7 points
--Hollywood Homicide (Half), They, Frequency, Conspiracy Theory, Changing Lanes, The Matrix Revolutions, K-19: The Widowmaker (Half), The Arrival
robb6264 = 4 points
--Hard Rain, Event Horizon, Die Hard, The Net
esuna = 3 points
--The Fugitive, Donnie Darko, Men In Black
DaMu = 1.5 points
--Signs, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (Half)
ScaryMonkey = 1.5 points
--We Were Soldiers (Half), Lost in Space
raz0r = 1.5 points
--Daylight, We Were Soldiers (Half)
Moquiao = 1 point
--U.S. Marshals
OttoDestruct = 1 point
--K-19: The Widowmaker (Half), U-571 (Half)
Jasp = 1 point
--Stargate
RED NED = 1 point
--Predator
BadKarma = 1 point
--Office Space
Pulse = .5 point
--Hollywood Homicide (Half)
Insane = .5 point
--U-571 (Half)
Orcrist = .5 point
--Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (Half)

Movies not guessed:

Identity
Clear and Present Danger
Last Action Hero

---

If anyone wishes to keep this up, go ahead and be my guest, I won't mind. Sadly though, as I said... I'm out of movies.

Should I start a new thread or do this one?

I have no problem with you using this thread and keeping the game alive. Have fun... now I'll get a chance to guess, hehe.

DOOM continue it here no need to spam the front page, but if you could post the dates as the first clue, makes it more challenging.

(( INSTRUCTIONS ))

I will post two screencaps per post of DVDs I (legally) own - one per movie. That means there are two movies in each post!
Your goal is to post the correct movie title first. You will be credited for the correct answer.
Keep off-topic posts to a minimum. There are many topics, but this one is mine. Please do not hijack it.

Arr, if only I had noticed this sooner. All I got was a point for guessing a movie I have not even seen. (I have no idea how I guessed it; I didn't notice Otto's post.)

Judging by the costumes, I'd say #2 is A Clockwork Orange.

Correct Nem!

And a hint for the first one: Originally a book, this film was actually a sequel, but most people didn't know it.

The lighting in #2 looks sorta like the club scene in Scarface, but I could be wrong.

Just checked, and Scarface was made in 1983, so it is indeed scarface
