What Programs Should I Install To My Ns Server?

I just wanted recommendations. What programs (essential programs) should I install to my NS Server? Like amxmod.net, adminmod.com, cheating-death, and which ones are compatible too?

    do they have a program that would let an onos eat more than one person, if there is one out there you should get it

    ::Bump::

    I'd say this really depends on what kind of server you're looking to run. Do you want it more seriously themed, intense server? Or are you looking for goofy plugins and other things; a generally more laid back server? I lean more towards the earlier as lots of plugins kind of destroy the atmosphere of the game for me. Also the more stuff you add, the greater potential you'll have for problems. Check out ModNS and see what interests you though.

    Edit: And oh yeah, I'd definitely go with Admin Mod

    I want a serious themed server, but friendly and enjoyable. I've got installed AdminMod, what Anti-Hack software should I set to it that is compatible with steam and NS v3.0 B3?

    I really wouldn't bother with the anti-hack stuff, but if you insist I'd say Cheating-Death is the way to go since VAC isn't supported yet. The thing is though, if VAC was implemented I'd go with it over C-D. With VAC you don't have to depend on your players to download a program and it's generally a hassle what with the constant Steam updates which often break C-D's compatability. C-D optionally required would be ideal until VAC is integrated, but remember the best ant-cheat is a couple of good admins.

    I guess I will wait for VAC compatibility. I was thinkin... I don't want to depend on users download, if I see a cheater... banned! and that's all

    It's very easy, actually. After your server has been running for about a week, people will start to remember it, and come often. Pick out a few regulars that seem responsible, and get yourself a few admins to help with keeping order in the server.

    On another note, I recommend using AMX Mod X, as development of AMX Mod has been ceased, and both of them easily outclass AdminMod in number of plugins.
