I'm not sure rtx ever really settled on what funtion those fins might have, but you'd be surprised how much of a sense of form it adds to the gun.
Someone skinned and animated it a long time ago, but they did a really amateurish job in doing so that soured the whole deal. Only reason I never used it was because of the "cel shaded" skin.

since rtx is basically a m1911 modified, i kinda find your slide very akward, especially the lower front part, which have to move with the slide, and the whole gun itself is too thick :o
