    Interestingly, Blizzad is using BitTorrent as a distribution as well, albeit you need THEIR client to use it. Read more here:

    I don't really see leeching as a problem for bit torrent in a professional setting. If someone like blizzard is hosting a download, bit torrent can ONLY decrease their bandwidth costs. "leeching" on bit torrent is, in the absolute worst case, only as bad as downloading it directly as far as bandwidth is concerned.

    Leeching is only really a problem when the person hosting the torrent doesn't have nearly enough bandwidth to support it as a traditional download, and the leeching keeps the torrent from ever really taking off. For a source with the resources of a company behind it, it's not a problem at all.
