i was just wondering if there was a tool or something that made a color you wanted change to a different color without having to select it. an example is my sig...i want to change the blue parts to a whole different color without having to select each line seperately. like is there a way i can make R:11, G:1, B:142 to R:88, G:88, B:120? somehow just type in the r, g, b code i want to overwrite the current color? so it changes all the blue i want to a different color? hopefully this makes sense.

    I know Photoshop allows you to use the Magic Wand tool to select areas, and you can uncheck the "contiguous" box so it will select all areas of that color. after that, it's simply a matter of filling the selected area with the color of your choice.

    Dunno how PSP works, but I imagine it has similar functionality.

    i dont see that under the wand tool. i know how to use the wand tool, but i don't to have to select each line seperate and color each one individually. that will take FOREVER <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    that's why it's best to save the original file, layers and all <!--emo&::marine::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/marine.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='marine.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    again, I only have knowledge of PS

    there should be a way to make the selection non contiguous as coil said.

    if not...

    blow up the sig to a nice big size, hold ctrl then click on each line then change <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    or you could just have some one else do it <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    I hope yah don't mind:

    actually i figured it out, there's a color replacer tool where you just type in the rgb of the original color and then you type in thenew rgb color which you want replaced and then just click anywhere on the image! sweet!

    -EDIT- there, the blue is less intense now! <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->
