<div class="IPBDescription">Cheapest way to get to London</div> Me and 2 of my mates (each 14) want to be able to get to London 13th march and back the cheapest way possible.

We're looking to be there at about 5pm, and back by 2am the next day.

    It also depends on whether you'll be moving around London a lot, or just staying in one place.

    last time i went to london i got the train, cost like 10 quid or something from Coventry (near birmingham)

    and make sure you get a day pass for the buses and underground there cause its a life saver

    If youre trying to go as cheaply as possible, try the coach. Birmingham to London via Milton Keynes. The coach station is in Digbeth, near the Bull Ring.

    However, I would recommend the train if you can afford that teeny bit extra. Coach takes a while, and isnt terribly fun. Your best bet, to be honest, is not to ask on an international forum, but to go to New Street, ask how much it costs, then walk to short distance to the coach station, and ask the same questions.

    on a serious note you could take the coach but when i did that it took around 3 hours to get there and 4 to get back because of the trafic, the coach is probobly the cheapest way to get there but i wouldnt recomend it, (oh and it gets mighty smelly in there <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo--> )

    Coaches suck so book a train ticket right now. Sooner you do it the cheaper it will be. Also think about getting a young persons railcard as it will reduce further ticket purchases considerably.

    Train costs £39 on virgin each, return.

    Other trains still cost around £20 each and TBH i don't really have any money spare atm =\
