going off topic here a little bit, but where can i find an application to play dem files?
and save them as avi files, please let me know because i would like to make a movie of this thing.

What, really, is the point of a thread for a map that has no screenshots, no map details, and no download?

haha yeah, and then you find out that your map isnt played in almost every server, but just like 2 or 4

After looking at the screenshots in that link you posted, all I can say is two words: texture lighting!

Every single light texture you're using you haven't made a texlight. Instead, you're using point lights, which give a really bad effect. Try using texture lighting to make the light seem more natural.

did i ever say i updated the pictures? and this is another reason im not posting pics..... play the damn thing first and then give some flocking feedback instead of LOOKING at the pics when you can PLAY the ****. god you guys are such whiners.

Don't know about anyone else, but i'm really excited to play the map now!

But seriously, don't be a jerk. We want to see pictures so we don't waste our bandwidth downloading ns_cardboardbox or something. Also pictures are a great way of getting people to download your map in the first place.

Some people are like me and download all the maps anyway, but a lot of people want pictures to reassure them that they're not wasting their time. Ontop of that, acting like a jackass and flipping out on people isn't going to make people want to download your map.

And by the way, how are we supposed to download a map that's not been released yet? All we have is a few images to go on, so it's a few images we'll comment upon.

I'm sure if someone said your map looks cool you wouldn't complain about them judging your map without playing it...

yo,
well the pics on nsworld are quite old and dont realy show what it looks like now, texctured lighting has bin used for a long time now, but obviously not in those pics :-P (think u need to update them black_plague)
and i just thought i show a quick screenshot of the new corridor, lighting isnt finished yet so still a lil dark ingame.

any comments/criticism?

hehehe ^_^ yes i am a hard headed mapper guy! mwhaha.......

yeah i will update the screen shots when the map is done, but not released..... after the screenies are updated we will release it....... and the map is still under construction with dark fighter... hes creating some new hall way to the marine base or something like that....

we PROMISE this will be done before this week ends!

we will have a server to test out the map probably this weekend from Bob servers

hey darkfighter, id like for you to help me on ns_ghost if you have time, or if you wish to give me a hand on some structuring, i have the marine base done on layout in my notebook, and i have like one hive done i guess lolz its basically same thing as co_plague, but bigger ^_^ i was thinking maybe we could make co_plague into ns_plague, by sticking in some more routs, vents, and possibly a bigger map for the resnodes. so if you think that this is possible, talk to me or get online cuz i got no ideas for this map thingy man.

alright here is an update, i just talked to one of my friends, he has a server that is unused. so i asked him if i could have it, he said i could have it for free, so i'll have co_plague on the map list, and ill have darfighter and anyone else who would like to be an admin....
