Is it possible at all to to install NSv3 without having STEAM?

    NOPE...cuz if u did...i might be possible steam is setup so that u need to connect throught them using your STEAM_clientID so u need steam to join steam games if other though made games and somhow figured out how to bypass the steam ID then u could join games ONLY that were modded just like urs..hope i was helpful

    there is an installer out there somewhere. (search)

    however I WOULD NOT suggest it, there are jack squat servers and eventualy WON will be taken down and you will THEN have to install Steam...

    there are 15 3.0 servers for WON, one of them is locked. 4 of them have people in them....

    take the hint and get steam.

    -Install Steam&NS (read the FAQs or Thread here)
    -Copy your nsp folder (C:\Steam\SteamApps\youremail\half-life\nsp\)
    -paste it in your C:\Half-Life\ folder.
    -Play it --> WON.net

    yes, but once you have installed Steam and gotten NSP working you might as well use steam.....

    Let's say you're behind a FIREWALL and Steam can't connect, PERIOD. Where do I get the bloody files? (expected reply: nowhere; bugger off)
