i played a marine round for about 20 min, had a ratio of 18 - 4
then played aliens for a min or so and got promptly banned...
i wasnt talking much at all, and was using the name >_<
as a dn member i was just looking for a reason as the admin never gave me a reason
belive his name was "mach10" or something similar
plz explain yourself.

i can back mac on this one. this guy was playing for quite a while and when the aliens started spanking the rines, people were talking about f4ing and mac said anyone who did would be banned, so instead this guys says "gg nub com" and quits. 2 maps later, he comes back and gets banned. thats what i saw.

2 maps later... so aprox an hour later, i came back from playong on other servers and got banned...
i wasnt aware people werent alowed to leave and rejoin servers within an hours time?

F4 button, bound to the command "readyroom"
readyroom: sends the player to the ready room, where he is free to join another team that isnt full or idle in the ready room, or spectate
quit server: dissconects you from the server, during that time your free to quit the game, or connect to another server
where in your rules does it say you are not alowed to leave the server and rejoin an HOUR Later? humm?

One day their servers are gonna be empty and they'll just be wasting their money. Besides, there's like 400 more NS servers to play on :/
So yeah, too strict rules = byebye server
But in short....what flintpaper said.
But you should've joined under a different name anyway because you knew if they saw your name you'd get banned.

Are they really <i>that</i> strict? Would you appreciate it if you had stackers, quitters, cheaters and racists on the server? Didn't think so.
I'm fine with the rules. The only thing I disagree about is Friendly Fire but lets not talk about that here.
