And yes, I did see AI...while the movie does actually take suprising turns, and is interesting in that sense, it's fairly boring movie overall.
I like to focus maybe on Waterworld, or the Playstation game Critical Depth (...which I'm apparently the only one who's ever owned it)...except both with slightly less water...so you can live on the top floor of the Chysler building or something.

You can make oil inside of 20 minutes with a few bins of rubbish.
Climate changes are the worrying ones though. A few degrees higher than it is now and the South American rainforests will start to suck in O2 and pump out CO2. Then we're screwed.
Nah, I'm pretty sure we're going to get royally owned by the environment very shortly.

<i>The purpose of this report is to imagine the unthinkable - to push the boundaries of current research on climate change so we may better understand the potential implications on United States national security.
We have interviewed leading climate change scientists, conducted additional research, and reviewed several interations of the scenario with these experts. The scientists support this project, but caution that the scenario depicted is extreme in two fundamental ways. First, they suggest the occurrences we outline would most likely happen in a few regions, rather than on globally. Second, they say the magnitude of the event may be considerably smaller.
We have created a climate change scenario that although not the most likely, is plausible, and would challenge United States national security in ways that should be considered immediately.</i><!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
The pentagon's job is to think up EVERY situation possible. We probably even have battle plans to attack canada, mexico, or perhaps another civil war in the United States itself.
The press is just trying to make a quick buck by presenting half the truth.

I've heard of studies that have been done that , again "may", show that the ozone depletion (the big hole in the sky,... duh) is normal and part of the earths cycle and it will regenerate itself, as for when that is still undetermined but some claim that evidence found plausablly proves this theory. I have not seen these reports first hand but fromw hat I hear, I believe it.
Sometimes I wish I was born 70 years ago so I wouldn't have to witness all this sh*t throughout my life that is only beginning. Im 17 now and when Im like around my 30's the whole ****ing word will collapse, now ain't that just a kick in the groin don't you say. It's nice how people in commandment only live in this day and wish happy days for the last days of their lives, and leave the future generations with nuclear wars, global warming, nuclear winter and the sun exploding. Now sure, sun exploding isn't really tomorrow's thing but oh heck, I bet some big country will find a way to fasten that process as well so that we don't have any sun for the 4th coming generation from now on. Cool! Seems to me like the main idea of the whole "world management" today is with the "If I can't get it, neither can you" which I explain by the leaders of today pulling tricks out of their hats so that when they're dead, the world dies with them.
