Fmod.dll Error?

<div class="IPBDescription">Please help my friend!</div> ok this error has been doin my friends head in as we cant tell whats causing it at all. he doesnt have steam so it's a WON error also (ive seen a similar error in Steam before) but his game used to run fine then suddenly started coming up with an error box on the desktop saying:

we've tried reinstalling everything several times and ive sent him my FMOD.DLL file but still no luck. Any help would be appriciated.
