<div class="IPBDescription">wrong forum i suppose but needs to be...</div> I was thinking over about making a donation to NS and was already aware of the symbol next to your name that you get. Then I saw no additional gameplay features will come for now. Well I play a game called Sven Co-Op you may of heard of it and when someone makes a donation they get an electric crowbar + golden uzis. Now I was just thinking and when the time comes that donators will get gameplay features what do some of you constellation members think you should get.

Any admins go ahead and move this to were it belongs but please not the constellation forums because I can not yet access it.

    I'm a Constie but I don't see why CMs should get any gameplay benefits.
    Personally I think it would be silly. Donation is an act of goodwill. I'm pretty sure Flayra doesn't want to make NS a "pay to unlock extra features" crippleware. The icon is good enough for me - it simply states "I love NS so I support the development team". If you were to unlock extra features it kinda removes the idea of "donating" and converts it to "registration".

    I can think of a free wallpaper or winamp skin but not something that would effect natural selection's gameplay.

    The Constellation I see as an act of goodwill in the hope of seeing NS develop, and become a better game. It's had it's up's and down's, there will always be things people disagree on (I'm a huge supporter, but there's still things I don't like) and you feel like you're a bit part of the game, and the development of it.

    It's nice to see something grow and become more well known, and feel you somehow contributed to that growth.

    A snazzy icon is a pretty sweet benefit though <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Well assuming we would only want to give them cosmetic changes (any game play changes would put balance right down the plug hole), then I wouldn't mind seeing them with a different uniform (colour/design whatever) <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->. Or maybe they get spawn priority (though not so much that it can be exploited in combat (I mean if 1/4 of the team is constellation/vet and the aliens have rushed the base then no one else would respawn (I would suggest having 1 dedicated vet & constellation spawn slot, but which would be used by any other player if there were no dead vets or constellations.

    I donated bacause i believe that they are worth it. I got to play their game, and loved it. I'm an addict. I didn't donate for the icon, although, respect should come with it, and seldom does. I believe they earned every penny of my donation.

    Support a cause, not a because.

    A different skin for constellation members would actually be kind of neat... Makes a statement in-game yet at the same time dosen't affect balance.

    Marines could maybe get a badge, patch, or a slightly different color uniform. Aliens could get a scar, patch of 'stuff' growing on them, or a slightly different skin color.

    Constellation members playing marine should always spawn with a jetpack and heavy armor. They should also have exclusive access to the TSA Go-Kart and Plasma Sniper Rifle.

    Alien CMs should always have all 3 hive abilities.

    Oh, and their walls should be transparent.
