Why Wont Realplayer Leave Me Alone?

I hate it, hate it hate it hate it. Every time I unistall/delete/format its back withen days, with all of its IE toolbars, popups, spyware, and anoying video player that overides all others. What can i do about this to make it end?

    no i know, but realplay keeps installing itself onto my comp, and i cant get rid of it

    I think you need to download the Mega Codec Pack though.

    it pops up and goes pelase isntall me and you click yes... or maybe you clicked "always trust media from RealNetworks" and now it doesnt even bother asking. sucks to be you, does anyone know how to undo that action?

    yep realplayer is spyware and you got it bad. i simply boycott streaming media and all rm files in general and you know ive never had any problem with it. sure i miss out on one or two "omg funny check out this video" posts, but boo hoo.

    Get your own computer, I guess. My experience with siblings is that you can't teach them how to use the darn thing properly if they can't figure it out by themselves.

    Funny thing is, theres no reason to download anything... except maybe Quicktime.

    Just type mplayer2 into your run box. Yay! The old 6.2 player, without all the crap. Now just find some codecs.
