My Customized Stuff Doesnt Work

<div class="IPBDescription">shame on you steam! shame on you</div> i used lots of customized models and skins in 2.0 but since i changed to steam i cant use (install and afterwards use) them. I always put them into Steam/Aps/Halflife/ns/models (well of course only the models. and the player models into the different folders. i didn´t make a mistake there. well i think so...perhaps the whole path is wrong? could it be that i shouldn´t install it into the steam folder?)

plz help me

(i put this into customization forum cause i think many of you guys want the players to actually use your models/sounds/etc)

aye, my sounds work, but if i put a single model from v2 the whole HL crashes out. :/

Try "nsp" instead of "ns". That's where Natural Selection 3.0 defaults to.

its one of the NS default ones mate, mine got deleted along with my sig, way before xmas. never got round to getting new ones.

so anyone know y we cant use v2 models in v3? any solutions? i want my old ones back

Been using some skins since 1.04 all the way to 3.03... without any problems.

the correct path should be "Half-Life\Steam\SteamApps\yourname@yourISP.com\half-life\nsp\models"

i use several models from 2.0 like weapons, sprites, sounds etc and they all work just fine (except old 2.0 custom player models, since they lack the new hand grenade animation).
