What are you talking about? What rules? What rules hold you back from joining? Most clans I've joined don't have any "official" rules, it's simply presumed that you can do your part in the clan, that is, showing up for scrims, matches, etc. etc. When you sign up for a clan, you take up a new responsibility. Ya, I've met my share of suck-a-****-coz-im-better-then-you morons, but the good people I've met make up for it. I consider at least some of the members of my clan to be friends, and the rest I'm sure I'll be friends with in a week or so. <!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Last clan I tried to join said I had everything to be qualified for the clan it's just that my timezone would mess everything up. What's ridiculous is that it was the summer time and I was willing to stay up late to make the scrims. <!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Oh I see, one clan says it all for all clans.
I find most people who are 'against' clans are the ones who have little to no experience with clans.
It's rather appalling at the level of ignorance you guys carry. <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd-->
Well I'm pretty sure most serious clans would say no because of my time zone which would cause me to miss most scrims.
What are you talking about? What rules? What rules hold you back from joining? Most clans I've joined don't have any "official" rules, it's simply presumed that you can do your part in the clan, that is, showing up for scrims, matches, etc. etc. When you sign up for a clan, you take up a new responsibility. If you can't handle this responsibility, or "rules" as you call it, what can you handle?
Now before anyone dares say that all clannies are careless morons, let me just point out that some of the best, most friendly, funniest people I've ever met have been through the ns clan community. This one time, I met this asian kid and he was mean. Thus, all asian kids must be mean. Now I see where your logic comes from bizzy.
Thank you so much for insulting me. I try to be nice to everyone, even though I'm in a clan. I don't try to act like I'm better than anyone. I don't even THINK that I'm better than anyone. I'm nice to almost everyone, polite to every single person I meet... If you're going to discriminate against people based on if they're in a clan or not, I think it's YOU who has the attitude problem. <!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Then you're not there yet. Even people I knew really well once they joined a clan, oh, suddenly they're 'too good' for all their old friends. It happens to everyone. tournamentmode 1 must make your monitor release extra radiation or something...
I'm honestly trying here. I know a GREAT many people that have joined clans, and every single one of them has developed an attitude problem.
Forlorn, you should be the last to talk, your arrogance in these forums is astounding. Just browsing through your 'Posts by this member' list is absurd. I'm not taking time to find them and quote them again... but almost every post you've made in reply to ns balance and such has been, more or less, 'well that's because you suck and since I'm in a clan, I'm better'.
And you know what the funniest part is? Go back before november (somewhere around then). You appear to have been a lot more civil. And between then and now, the ATi tournament was announced, veteran clans formed, and were bribed into existance by the carrots of having a title, icon, and beta testing.

If clans are so bad, why not join one and find out for yourself.

Because NS clans are like bad fraternities where all the stoner and **** jocks congregate. You don't join bad fraternities just to see 'what it's like'.

You sound like the kind of kid that gets picked on in school by the jocks. Take a hint will ya? Everyone needs to cool down. Geminosity is correct, generali<b>z</b>ation is the main reason why everyone thinks clanners are dumb. They see one clan member. They were a jerk to them. Suddenly, every clan member must be like that, because they're all the same, right?
Also, you people need to grow up. Who cares? They're not all elitist, is the point. The people who are calling them that are usually elitist themselves.
LOL! *Shields himself from incoming flames*
SiD and DS? I used to play on that server all the time, I learned how to play NS there, some guy named Jedah taught me.

Just because you've had a few bad experiences doesn't mean that every clanner is bad or will become bad. I've met a whole lot of cool clanners. It seems that YOU are the one who is taking clanning way too seriously, not the clans. I'm in a clan because the members are my friends and we enjoy playing NS together. I'm in a clan because playing with friends is a lot more fun than playing with random pubbers, and there is no way that you can deny that. Would you rather play with friends who can work together amazingly well instead of people that you've never met before, may never meet again and have no idea how they work?
Generalizations are quite stupid, and by the way you're acting, I think it proves that YOU are the one that has developed an attitude problem.
