    A Forum admin has to change it. They are only given to respected, l33t people. There was one exception, however... if you want to ride the short yellow dropship...

    To make a custom title for yourself, you have to have a very large post count. "Very large" was originally defined in the forum code as the speed of light, but we decided to be more reasonable and choose a relativistic speed near it instead. We decided to start with a random 8-digit integer to the power of pi, and it is incremented by 1 each time MonsieurEvil uses the phrases "hippie," "teenangster," "nub," "nublet," or "commie" (or any variation thereof, i.e. "DAI COMMI" /k) in IRC or the forums.

    On a more serious note, the real answer to your question is much less humorous. Unless that setting has changed since last time I checked, you're never going to have enough posts to make your own title -- you'll have to earn it via methods similar to anyone else with a custom title.
