Error "vids:divx"

in NS General Discussion
when i play ns bate it say 無法使用視訊,找不到"vids:divx"解壓縮程式 on the top.
but wait about 1 min, still can play.
But i don't know wait when i want to play.

My PC:
P4 1.8
512 ram
geforce4 MX 440 128 MB

    I have downloaded and everything but I still get the error message, must be steam or something. I can play the .avi file out of windows media player.

    have you tried any alternative codecs?

    "ffdshow" is much faster than divx and can decode just about anything mpeg-4 (it's around 3x faster on my 2ghz athlon)

    isn't divx pro the one with adware (unless you give them like $20 or bust out some hax?)

    the normal divx lacks a few features but it's fine for playback. it is adspam free (it was when i installed it)

    I've made it a personal policy to scan any video codec bundles i download. You should definately do so if you download the DivX 5 codec from divx.com.

    The problem is the encoding on the intro movies. You can delete or rename your resource\StartupVids.txt if it really bothers you. We'll fix this as soon as we find out how we're "supposed" to encode movies (ie, what HL uses).

    I believe that file is in the media folder, not resource.
