<div class="IPBDescription">hm?</div> i love it.
NU jazz is what it sounds like: "new" jazz.
it's usually synthesized, or mostly synthed. digitally mixed and all. it's not like techno. it's usually easy on the ears, with smooth-growing songs. it's like.. coffee. or driving in the city, in a light rain.
it's fresh.. smooth, and funky.
funky is important.
anybody else listen to new jazz?
some artists you could look up are:
St. Germain: tasty and delightful. very good place to start.
Thievery Corporation: exotic. also terrific.
Troublemakers: almost eccentric beats.. hard to describe, but it really says something about the diversity of the genre.
