I have the same EXACT problem with Windows Messenger. I turned off the autosign on my MSN, I'm not sure how I did it but I can look into it soon (can't now KoToR is installing and PC is running hella slow). But if anybody who reads this thread knows how to turn off Windows Messenger and MSN Messenger, then help us out.

Ok I've found it. You open MSN Messenger, to to Tools, Options, General, and at the top it will say "Automatically run Messenger on windows startup or some **** like that. Uncheck that box and you are good to go.

make it auto sign in with a user that doesnt even work.

    e.g

    Email : idiot@somewhere.com
    pass: idiot

it will try auto sign in, then get it wrong, you can just sign in with your user else where fine <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
