It's 7:04 AM, and I've been at work since midnight. In 4 more hours I'll have been up for a day. You wish you were an IT consultant too, don't you? DON'T YOU!?!?!

I once stayed up for 4-5 days straight playing PSO before I lost consciousness in the middle of talking to someone

During finals last semester, I stayed up for 2 days straight....Then on the day we got out for xmas break, I had to go to the emergency room because of pnemonia....which led to pretty bad ashtma attacks, lol.

I'm NEVER staying up that long again....pnemonia sucks. (i think thats how u spell pnemonia....)

anyways, yesterday I pulled weeds for 6 hours straight and I burned the weeds. That's one of many reasons why I hate living in such a small town...and the best part is, I GET TO DO IT TOMORROW!!!! WAHOO!

Record for me was 92 hours. I just sat in my room. For some insane reason, I didn't want to sleep. Apparently I played some killer games of Warcraft 3 whilst I was awake, but I sure as hell don't remember them.

When my fiancee finally forced me into bed, I was asleep before I hit the pillow (literally). I rarely suffer from such urges these days. Though the fact that Monse usually posts in the discussions forum at around 1 - 2am Australian Eastern Standard Time does play havok with my sleeping patterns. For some reason I just have to post a reply so when I wake up I can write a rebuttal. Or an agreement. Or a "Gosh I really really must stop posting at 3am 'cause I can't debate for crap at that hour"

There is evidence that not sleeping damages the brain. The dude that set the record 211 hours or something had numerous perminent side effects afterwards. I have only managed to keep it up for 50 hours my self.

Yes I do.

Sounds like a fun line of work. Minus the savage hours.

Similiar threads have been left open on multiple occasions. This isn't spam, it isn't no-topic, so why would we lock it?

Soon Monse'll be rollin' on dubs with a blunt and a 40.

I've stayed up 2 days... sure did suck afterwards.

In controlled lab tests mice died of lack of sleep before they died of starvation.

I kinda like waking up after an unplanned nap folowing a long period of wakefullness. I feel much more refreshed.

In movies there's always one space soldier that says to another "How much sleep have you gotten?" and the other responds "I haven't slept in three days." Then the first one tells him to go to sleep, and the second one replies "When the mission is finished." The first soldier is usually female.

Just wanted to add...

Damn straight. Lol. I've only stayed up about 2 1/2 days straight. That was when I was moving to Korea but there was some Typhoon and we had to sleep in the airport with all the other people but I just stayed up playing WC3 on the laptop.

I know how not sleeping can feel. My record is almost 5 days straight without sleep. The only thing I remember: insomnia is not a fun thing to have.
• the_t00lethe_t00le Join Date: 2002-12-04 Member: 10466Members
My record is 102 hours... I think.

After about hour 66 my vision started to blur and I pretty much lost all concept of time.

Man, I like my sleep. Longest I ever stayed up was 72 hours, and that was when I was so sick, the minute I laid down, I hacked like mad. FInally passed out on my kitchen floor!
