My Computer
<div class="IPBDescription">Now has a problem :(</div> OK, now I've reformatted my disk because it kept restarting without loading Windows, but that's fixed
Now the problem is that Windows always runs CHKDSK everytime I reboot my system. Is there anyway I can stop this from happening? It doesn't even want me to Defrag (Chkdsk is scheduled to run, please run chkdsk /f)
Hopefully someone can help
And yes, my specs
Intel Pentium 4 2.4 GHz
Windows XP Home Edition
Maxtor 30GB 7200 rpm
Hopefully someone can help me with this problem, because it's annoying <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->

Comments
I always let it scan through my harddisk, but it just keeps loading up CHKDSK everytime after I reboot, even after it runs a full scan
EDIT : Maybe I forgot to say that it loads CHKDSK <b>before</b> it loads Windows.
/me fears for his computer's lifes <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->
Could possibly be the harddrive because CHKDSK /F would fix errors on my harddisk....sadly it won't load CHKDSK /F for some reason....instead it loads regular, normal CHKDSK everytime I reboot
I'm looking into getting a new harddisk soon, because I'm sure that the HDD is damaged by some sort. Plus, I need more space <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
Generally I could use that drive for storing my files and game though....shame to waste it, so better stay with it till the end
But then, if anyone ever knows how to fix this, it would be greatly appreciated.
@DrVirus - Your computer generating noise surely has nothing to do with damaged harddisks unless your HDD somehow breaks into little shiny fragments....ohhh preccciousssss......
