Gitaroo Man
<div class="IPBDescription">re: master mode level two</div> Hello. Level two of master mode in Gitaroo Man is draining my will to live. If anyone here has played it and beat this level, how long did it take you? I've been trying it for about 5 hours cumulative now. The nearest to completion I've got is about three quarters through before those damn aliens nail me with funk.
But, as always, it's the sign of a great game that I can throw my Dual Shock at the screen with rage, only to pick it up 3 seconds later and try just one more time, honest this time, I've got work tomorrow see.
And the Sanbone Trio theme is the best thing ever.

As for advice, just keep on trying.
Your fingers are cleary not 'saucy' enough. Flex them.
Now, this game sounds like a Parappa-esque heap o' fun. Should I give it a whirl?
It's very Parappa-y, yes, but during the guitar bits you have to move the analog stick and time the rhythm button presses simultaneously. More involved, I suppose.
My inability to defeat it probably has something to do with the fact I've not got a single beat in my body, yes.

Sold. I'll look out for it.
I see that anger instills incoherence into you. Have you been drinking the absinthe again?
So then.
Anyone played level 3 of master mode? The song (blues) isn't as addictive as level two's (catchy j-pop), so I've got about a quarter of the motivation to finish it. Still a great game, though.
