<div class="IPBDescription">Equilibrium owns you</div> 2 hours or so work, photoshop 8, Wacom graphire 3 tablet
Used a DVD screencap as reference.
(and for those who are skeptical that i didnt do all this from scratch, i saved the images seperately every now and then, from the sketch, to the base colours, to the detail, to the lighting, to the final image so i have PROOF i did this), i just didnt want a repeat of last time <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

Nice... are you still working on it? Everything's pretty sweet, just those stretched, empty, black eyes really freak me out.

All i use is the paintbrush in photoshop with about 70% flow and 100% opacity, big brush for wide areas, smaller brush for detail
then i grab the smudge tool and mix colours together and smooth it all over so its not jaggy and such, looks like its all blended together
for the lighting/shadows all i use is the dodge and burn tools on about 10-20% strength and change the options of it to either "highlight, midtones, or shadows" and test out each one till it gives the correct shade of light i'm looking for <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> then i work it

    hehe true,
but i tryed many things til now... flash, c++/c programming, html, visual basic, some other programming laguages, paintshop, photoshop, ....
i was realy amazed what u can do with this things, so i tryed realy hard to learn it. but i have no patience for long projects, so i learn all the basics, and maybe more and then i just give up XD
    i hate me for that

now im on my 3d modeling trip with MAYA, lets see how long this will last <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->

i can give ya all a nice tip, go to <a href='http://www.digital-tutors.com/digital_tutors/index.htm' target='_blank'>www.digital-tutors.com</a>

I think the picture is very very well done.
The eyes and facial expression is spot on, and your piece as a whole is very well thought out.
I think this is one of the best pieces of non related ns..or for that matter any art on this forum.

    Although I dislike the film.
Collectively about 20 mins of action and the rest...well...a poorly done idea that has been achived to a much better standard a thousand times over in the past. I mean...George Orwell...1984....a classic..and a great social comment behind the book..this film tries to adopt the same symbolism..yet fails.
The acting..is well...ok. And the architecture and clothing in the film..is neither good nor orginal.
The only good part is the end action scene..by which time your utterly depressed.
    I mean..the Goverment/ evil dictator..(original) depserately seeks the underground rebels...and all the time..they are in the sewers..hmmm...what a good hiding place... ..... ...... .......
..As you can tell..I was pretty disapointed..after I realised I payed £5 to go and see it.

    Good pic tho <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.natural-selection.org/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
