    I don't know where you live, but over here in France, all movies are either original version, or french subtitled. When I went to Germany, same thing. When I went to GB same thing.

    I hate dubbed movies. If it's in Russian, let it be Russian. If it's in English (preffered), let it be so.     Yeah, S.T.A.L.K.E.R's story is from some Russian movie, roughly. So? I don't speaka the Russian, and I don't want to learn the story before I play in any case.

    story of the game and story of the movie aint exactly the same, game is more losely based off the movie, but its kool to have some backstory kinda before u start off playin the game imo

    You two obviously misinterpreted me, I live in The Netherlands and what I mean by subtitles is that you get subtitles in your own language in the movie, so that people oblivious of the language can still understand it, is it that hard to understand? Or do I have to say: DUTCH subtitled(which wouldn't fit in a European sense I wrote my first post in this thread)?

    But yes, I receive German channels here and I see a lot of dubbed movies on those channels, the lip-synchronization is just hilarious! <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Here in Holland we always use subtitles. We don't translate the movies like Germany does.

    The movie is really good, but since the movie is based off the book "Roadside Picnic" and so is the game, I'd recommend reading that before watching this movie.

    Here in the UK 99.9% of DvDs are in english with english and other EU languages subtitles and audio.

    Although it does take 4 Months to translate Americain English Text into english english text, I assume they cant accept the original desgin.

    The best thing is to watch the movie with the original audio track and have subtitles display, if one prefers so.
