If we invaded France without any proof or evidence, do you think other people would like it? <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd-->
As far as I know though, France dosen't have mass graves and a tyrannical government. And really, you can't say the world/Iraq is worse off without Saddam Hussein in power.

And if anyone thinks that relating Bush to Hitler based on a few words is fine, I'm pretty sure I could relate Dean to Rush Limbaugh. Useless? Outrageous? Stupid? Yes, but if you get asinine enough you can find links between anyone, even though they may be two people on totally different ends of a spectrum.

This is a perfect demonstration of the one thing that keeps me from liking the Democratic party more (I agree with them on some issues, others I side with Republicans) is that they seem so damn angry, hateful, and resentful. Especially the self proclaimed "Bush Haters", I can only relate them to being locked in a room with a teen angster who just broke up with his imaginary girlfriend. They make the Democrats look like a bunch of extremists, which in reality is pretty far from the truth.

*Sigh* One day people will sit down and talk out their differences instead of making stupid flash movies...

And that is all entirely beside the point? When are the pro-war dumbasses going to understand that its the LYING, more LYING, and KILLING of INNOCENTS that anti-war people oppose?

You do know what JDAMs, Tomahawks, and LGBs are for, right? You make it sound like we flew B-52's overhead and dropped the full load of 108 bombs directly on Baghdad. I'm as opposed to the war as anyone (While I will say I don't think much bad came out of it politically for Iraq) it was a stupid war to begin with, but crap statements like that **** me off.

    Oh and one more thing:

    <!--QuoteBegin--></span><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->Listen to Dean's rhetoric, especially on security and international issues. He never offers specifics;<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->

That's a GOOD thing. Dean's a smart man, and he knows that naming specifics is just setting himself and everyone else up for dissapointment. Name one president that fulfilled every single one of their campaign promises?

    Hypothetic Truths:

Bush promises, "I will underfund my 'No Child Left Behind' act."

Now if Bush instead decided to cut teacher salaries and public school funding, he broke his promise.

Dean promises, "I will cut funding for education."

He's telling us what he plans on doing, but isn't stupid enough to gamble the position and tell everyone years ahead exactly what he's hoping will still be viable to do in the future.

That's why you vote for the lesser of all evils. Unless you want another 2000 election happening because of people like you who aren't going to vote for some stupid reason or another. Or maybe you WANT Bush to be one less vote away from re-election?

I think Anti-bush ads are just wrong. A bit like french fry renaming (which are belgian) for the sake of patriotism.

I really thought that the cream of the crop of leftist creativity could be better than this.

One "ad" says that Bush spends too much, another says that he takes too many government programs away...

You can't eat your cake and have it, too... If they are afraid of bankruptcy than they should be in favor of program reduction AND tax hikes, not one or the other.

lol i jsut came back to read since i last posted.

wow, all i did was say that a bush/hitler commerical existed (never said anything more) and what a storm it casued.

    Anyways

on to finaly expressing my opinion.

I really dont like the Bush administrations Patriot and upcomming Patriout 2 acts.

Having the government be able to search your stuff, take DNA samples, spy on you, log every library book you barrow etc without having to have any probable casue of you doing anything wrong annoys me.
So does the fact that they can now arrest and detain you for as long as they want with out having to tell your family where you are, withought having once again probable cause that you comiited a crime and also give you only limited legal council.

    yay america.

Your statement would only make sense if everyones vote counted, it doesn't. We have this silly thing called the Electoral College that basically votes for us. Look at it this way, I live in Wisconsin, Wisconsin typically has a >50% vote for democrat, thus WI typically votes all of its 11 (12?) Electoral Votes for the democratic candidate. So why should I bother voting? My state is going to give all its votes to the democrats and my extra vote would be entirely useless.

I'm probably not going to vote in this election because it just isn't worth bothering. Neither the Democratic nor Republican candidates are worth snot, my vote wouldn't make a difference in choosing the "lesser evil", and its not worth voting if I have to choose between two evils is it? Thats not the way democracy is supposed to work. If I do vote, however, I'll be throwing my vote away on either my mother, or my uncle Kevin (hardest working man I ever met).

These ads are an embarrassment. In fact, some of them are pretty hypocritical, although you have to think about it for a while.
