Final Fantasy: Interior Decorating. If you are hardcore into FF its a must buy but I didnt like it at all.

It's not nearly as bad as most people seem to think it is. It definitly has it's unfortunate moments, but if you can put up with those, the battle system, the optional dungeons, and some other exceptional aspects start to make it worth it in my mind. If you liked FFX, I'd recomend trying this one. It's not as good as ten, but it's still pretty good.

Yea at the first few hours were....."OMG IS IT EVER GOING TO BE OVER" with the yrp stuff made me sick <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'> but then it got better...im still in chapter five...trying to lvl up cause im not strong enough <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'> anywayz its a good game if you can get past the first few parts

ROFLMFAO!!! That's why FFX was a rent for me. Only ones that I've played and liked are 7 and 9, but I don't have a PS2 anyways so don't mind me... It's just 'cause if you want straight action that looks pretty Xbox is 2nd only to PC...

I've always felt that since FFVII, the lead characters haven't been that great.

Cloud was, well, a bit of a git, but had some cool developments.
Squall was an utter stubborn git who i didn't care for in the slightest.
Zidane.... Zidane who? Totally forgetable.
Tidus is a total crybaby wet blanket, and a bad actor too.

None of the characters i could really identify with and really care about. The side characters, however, i did/do.

Personally I favored Cloud a lot- I thought Squall was quite forgettable, and that Zidane...well, Zidane was more of a "Traditional" hero, seen too many of em.

X2, you feel embarassed that you are playing the game during the first 4 hours. But after that there are quite a few quests and story plots that are actually alot of fun. The mini games are, for the most part, really boring, and there just happens to be tonnes of them, but the combat system and the story lines are pretty good in the general game. One neat feture, is that there is multiple plotlines, if you dont complete certian quests, then things will end differently by the end of the game, but if you complete all the quests the game comes together quite nicely. The worst thing about this game is the last dungon however, not only does it include the most boring mini game I have ever played, but you need to level up excessivly for several hours before many of the enemies are defeatable; in other words the game forces you to master it, while in other final fantasys you could pretty much follow the storyline the whole game if you wanted to, and things like over leveling were never really nesicary. One final observation, the fact that you can jump up/down ledges is not worth more in accesability than is taken away from it in frustration (you stand around on a little platform for 2 minutes trying to find the sweetspot that will actually let you jump off it, by the end your O button finger gets kinda sore)

I've nearly beat it, and I would say the above holds weight. Still it is pretty fun, and the music is mostly good.

I didn't like Rikku much in FFX, but i LOVE her in FFX2.

It's a fun little game.... it totally ruins all the beauty of FFX, I think, but if you can overlook that (and it's a REALLY girly game, guys, just so you know), it's fun. A lot more hands-on in terms of gameplay, since it's back to the timebar attack thing.

Also... I absolutely detested anything and everything about FF7, so we may have differing opinions <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'>

Well...... X2 has the disco happening, the women and graphics.

I never found any of the main characters intresting. (unless they where women, but thats a guy thing)
I found the villains to be so much more intresting. (EXCPET FF9) Speth all the way nothing beats a crazy guy who thinks his a clone <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'>

X-2 is a reasonable purchase if you can overlook its shortcomings. It's still enjoyable. If you're short on cash, however, there are plenty of better games to purchase.

On a side note: I think it's amusing that some video game characters are actually starting to look at least a hint asian (from Japanese companies, no less). I definately haven't noticed anything of the sort in any of Japan's other media. Riku looks about half or 1/4 asian, I guess.

I didn't mind tidus actually, though to be honest I liked all the cast in FFX... except seymour who was basically sephiroth but not as good =3
All FF chars seem pretty cool when you see them in Kingdom hearts though <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'>
