Old article, but worth discussing
After so much attention was paid to their overrated list, why am I not surprised that no one brought up their underrated list?

I admit to not having played many of the games there; only three to be exact:

No One Lives Forever - Great style and humour for the FPS blood. I loved waiting behind the wall just listening to the guards having a conversation ranging from all sorts of different subjects... kind of made me want to partake in the talks. But then they started shooting me and I didn't have much of a choice... Great characters as well; I especially liked the Scotsman! And some of the things that they introduced were pretty cool, like the skydiving fight, and mowing down guards with your motorcycle. Really creative gadgets too...

Grim Fandango - Great style and humour, AGAIN! Excellent voice acting, and the setting was just excellent. Rubacava still remains as the single most coolest place to explore in gaming history. Good God, the graphics did wonders for the game, one of my favourite adventure games ever!

Planescape: Torment - WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR, GET THIS GAME ALREADY!!!

I gave my friend Undying for Christmas; hopefully I might be able to borrow it from him when he's done and check that game out myself. I played a bit of the demo, and it was pretty interesting.

Only other game that I think is worth mentioning: Sacrifice

Tis all.

    Without re-reading it...

Yes, I've heard good things about Grim Fandango. It has a place at the Home of the Underdogs. After all, it's a Lucasarts adventure game, and Lucasarts make the best adventure games. Period. Say what you like about Space Quest, it isn't a patch on Monkey Island.

Aand... I ramble about the masterpiece that is Sacrifice every chance I get. It got glowing reviews, it was a fantastic game, and it deserved much more than it got. To anyone who hasn't played it: go get the demo.
