    You came to the right place, on the steam forum you get flammed for bumping a problem or finding a new one.

    Ok uninstall steam.
    Delete the steam directory.

    That should re-set EVERYTHING.

    Failing that, I would try and find the .cfg file where the resolution is set and alter that.
