<div class="IPBDescription">why?</div> A US firm took out patent for, started producing and is now selling a <a href='http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=13416' target='_blank'>fart deodorizer</a> according to the inquirer(it's a bit of a tabloid for geeks kind of thing... with rumors about upcomming hardware, odd news and such.).
I can't see why anyone would wan't one. When your at home it's just fun teasing your friends(...don't look at me like that... it is! <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->). When your outside somewhere no one cares. When your on a train or something you just hold it in. So when would a fart deodorizer ever come in handy? Are there people suffering from such severe flatulance that this actually might be usefull?
A fart detector(maybe some sort of hand held hydrogen sulfide or methane detector?) to pinpoint the offender would be a much more usefull gadget IMO <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->.
Can you actually get a patent on just about anything?
