The Coffee Table Book Thread

As with the job thread, something very simple.

What do you have sitting on your coffee table. Or failing that, what art style book do you like thumbing through when you have nothing better to do?

I have 2.

<a href='http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0764309277/qid=1073220269/sr=1-3/ref=sr_1_3/002-4486319-7460019?v=glance&s=books' target='_blank'>The Unofficial Guide to Transformers</a>

They're both awesome just to flick through sometimes....

I'd really like to find a copy of the One Piece or Naruto art books... oh well it's all good.

I have a few books i pick up from time to time, basically just to thumb through or gawp at the pretty pictures.

    <li><a href='http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/156389629X/qid=1073222562//ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i1_xgl14/102-9327082-8836149?v=glance&s=books&n=507846' target='_blank'>Sandman - The Dream Hunters</a>
This is the only Sandman graphic novel i own. Well, it's just an illustrated book really. The artwork is done by Yoshitaka Amano and is absolutely amazing.

<li>The Trigun Ultimate Fan Guide #1
I'm still yet to find #2, but it's a cool little book that has screencaps, artwork and lots about the story, i pick it up occasionally just for the hell of it.

    <li><a href='http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/430990453X/qid=1073222872//ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i4_xgl14/102-9327082-8836149?v=glance&s=books&n=507846' target='_blank'>Junko Mizuno's Hellbabies</a>
Absolutely fantastic artwork from illustrator Junko Mizuno. Quite bizarre stuff really. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> <a href='http://www.h4.dion.ne.jp/~mjdotcom/' target='_blank'>The official Junko Mizuno website</a>. **Warning** Does contain some adult drawings. Well, a lot of them.

The WORST-CASE SCENARIO Survival Handbook, by Joshua Piven and David Borgenicht.

Probably one of the most fun books to page through that I've ever had the opportunity. Explains how to do everything from perform a bootlegger reverse, to how to maximize your chances of survival when diving out a fifth-story window, to how to perform an emergency tracheotomy.

When I'm bored I just read Al Franken books over and over. They are suprisingly good to re-read.

Not really a "How to Draw Book" but serves as a reference point for your gun drawings. Also contains detailed info on the different types of guns in the book. Good to look at when your bored. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
