<div class="IPBDescription">same old l33tness</div> When my roommate and I first got our apartment, it was pretty <a href='http://www.princeton.edu/~danj/temp/before.jpg' target='_blank'>messy</a>.
We worked hard to get it to some semblance of <a href='http://www.princeton.edu/~danj/temp/after-1.jpg' target='_blank'>order</a>...
But thanks to a few Christmas presents (TV) and a much-needed purchase (XBox), we've finally got it <a href='http://www.princeton.edu/~danj/temp/livingroom.jpg' target='_blank'>just the way we want it</a>.
For the record, the "server computer" is networked with my computer and my roommate's computer, and has access to 10+ GBs of music. We VNC into it from our desktops (hence the lack of a mouse or monitor) to play music through the stereo. (:

I'm currently dipping shrimp in Bulls-Eye barbeque sauce. It rules.
Gotta love VNC, saves so much room and hastle just accessing the server from your own PC ^^
Only downside is that it's hard as heck to see things in the distance on split-screen sometimes and I often ended up blind-shooting.
If they make halo 2 up to 4 player coop and able to play on 4 seperate linked xboxes it'd be amazing. Mind you, it'd be good on the PC if they did that too =D
How the hell is that the first thing I notice?!
Anyway nice room. I would like to steal it.
Though you're missing a nice DVD Player :O
The XboX does that. Just takes a 30$ reciever/remote.
Some more 'boX games I reccomend:
Halo
Metal Arms: Glitch in the System
Halo
Splinter Cell
Halo
Grand Theft Auto Double Pack <--- so worth $50
Halo
Crimson Skies
Halo
Mechassault <--- 20$ Platinum hits available now!
Halo
Return to Castle Wolfensteen: Tides of War
Halo
Crimson Sea (this isn't Crimson Skies again, it's a different game)
Halo
Armed and Dangerous (Sweet Jesus, I forgot this one in the first list? I'm slipping bad today)
Halo
Project Gotham Racing 2 (9.4 OXM)
Halo
Deus Ex: Invisible War (Got this for Christmas. When I get back to Colorado & my XboX, I'll report on it. 9.1 OXM, though...)
Halo
Beyond Good & Evil (Haven't played this one, but it looks oh so good)
Halo
That should bankrupt you nicely.

No no.. I said a NICE dvd player...
Component Input, 5.1 or better, etc. :)
Seriously, nice room. You should have gotten a black tv to fit with the rest of the stuff though.
BTW, you study at Princeton?

You're not alone.
I don't see what the big deal is about the game.
You're definately not alone. For the console it's a good FPS, but that's not really saying much at all.
Anyway, this isn't a thread on Halo. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
As for being rich, not really. I bought the Dreamcast when it dropped to $100, and bought the Cube off my brother with about 8 games for $150 total (including 3 controllers, an extra-large memory card, and a Wavebird). I got the Xbox used with my roommate's 30% employee discount at Gamestop. Most of the other systems are his, and nearly all of the DVDs. The TV was a Christmas present, the stereo a high school graduation present. The speakers were a gift from my sister when she moved cross-country and couldn't take them with her.
So I'm not rich... just lucky. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
