The accolade of "Best Game Ever" is something impossible to answer definitely; it's based purely on opinion, so that's what you're going to get: my opinion <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> I believe that there is no best game, however there are many impossibly excellent games; the peak of their respective genre. Half-Life dominates the FPS market for its sheer purity, golden classics such as Super Mario World sit high upon their platforming throne, Deus Ex and FF7 fight for the right to be my favourite RPG and Resident Evil has stolen my heart with its niche 'Survival Horror' genre.

Armoured Core was superb. I only ever played the demo but it was my fav game for the PS1. For immersion I'd say Call Of Duty. I just got onto the Russian missions and I straight away thought "Enemy At The Gates". For graphics I'd say Unreal 2. Value for money it would definately be Half Life.
Actually, Natural Selection is obviously the best.
