Sinister just gave me the link to it. I think it looks good, not award winning stuff, but worth the watch. Looks a little Batman-ish. I like. How about you guys?

    It was an OLD comic book. Movie looks interesting to say the least. I'll probably check it out. I really hate Jude Law though, so he could ruin it for me.

    I liked Jude Law in Road to Perdition and Enemy at the Gates. I don't think I've seen him in anything else.

    Jude Law aside ( thought he was good in A.I. and Talented Mr. Ripley), I think the movie, from what I've seen in the trailer, isn't going to fare all that well.

    The public is just growing tired of effect laden movies and are now striving for plot. Look at the differences in box office sales when you compare Reloaded and Return of the King. Both have huge special effects that have top of the industry people behind them, but Reloaded was regarded by many as a disapointment, mostly due to the lack of story.

    Lord of the Rings has increased with each release because effects were well used, and were second to the story.

    Special effects are there to support and serve the story, not BE the story.

    Which is what this movie (at least from the trailer) looks like.

    I absolutely LOVE that 1940's film feel they gave the movie. I mean that alone just kicks total ****.
