Basically, its a Humans vs Covenant mod, featuring most of the guns from Halo and Halo 2, the vehicles and new vehicles like APCs and the dropships.

Looks brilliant and i'm currently downloading (On my 56k - 203.1 MB)

    I have a suspicion that legal people will probably shut this down. I mean - we all remember the Stargate mod for HL right? That made a mod based around a show and it got canned - imagine whats going to happen with a mod based clearly and obviously around halo, an already existing GAME.

    Judging by the screenshots <a href='http://www.gamershell.com/hellzone_MODS_Homefront.shtml' target='_blank'>here</a> it DOES look very good.

    But theres also Book about halo(wich the game by Microsoft and bungie is based on), i dont know about the book much but do Microsoft or Bungie own Rights to the book?

    Man if that doesn't scream "SUE ME" I don't know what does...

    And I was under the impression Bungie did all their own story stuff and that Halo even loosely ties into Marathon somehow? Well, if Halo was based on someone else's work, I'm sure Bungie and Microsoft aren't stupid enough to not license what they need to...

    The novel you are refering too is fully endorsed by Microsoft and Bungie (They've also done a Crimson Skys one as well) and on a side note, it is a rather good book.
