Basically, its a Humans vs Covenant mod, featuring most of the guns from Halo and Halo 2, the vehicles and new vehicles like APCs and the dropships.
Looks brilliant and i'm currently downloading (On my 56k - 203.1 MB)

What does it look like? I mean a mod that doesn't even have a web site is pretty.. well.. one that would base their idea on someone else's property. :P

And I was under the impression Bungie did all their own story stuff and that Halo even loosely ties into Marathon somehow? Well, if Halo was based on someone else's work, I'm sure Bungie and Microsoft aren't stupid enough to not license what they need to...
