Sven Co-op Help Me!

Well I downloaded this mod a couple of days ago and then I had to redownload it yesterday cause of 3.0. Anyway, I need help with one thing... my MP3 list! I made one up with like 20 songs and I gave #pad enter command to start playing, #pad 0 to stop. #pad left and right arrow to switch between songs... anyway in game when I start the MP3 list is only plays "Cyborg" and nothing else, if I try to switch songs it just restarts it, if I wait till the song is done it just replays it. Even worse is that I was pretty sure I deleted this song too. Anyway how do I get my other songs to play? What am I doing wrong?

erm... checked that the playlist file(mp3.txt I think it's called) is not read-only or that sven co-op hasn't mysteriously restored it to default(IE cyborg)?

Um yeah... the only thing that's written in that file is...

    C:\SIERRA\Half-Life\SvenCoop\mp3\cyborg-blevo.mp3

It's not read-only... but do I have to add the file path for each and every song I want it to play!?

Your problem is probably that you're playing on WON. I've heard that Sven is awfully borked if you try to use it on WON rather than Steam. And even if that's not the problem, don't use any ingame mp3 players. They're pretty horrible (filenames can't have spaces, it can't handle subdirectories, etc.). Run winamp in the background and if you must have an on-screen display, use HLamp or something similiar.

Shrug. I always had trouble with any ingame mp3 player so I just used winamp. Uses probably slightly more CPU power but whatever works works. ;D

Hopefully you remembered their useful "generate list" button at the bottom... right hand? side of the "Create MP3 Playlist" helper app. If not, just learn some quick coding and hack your mp3.txt or something.

If those don't solve it, PM me and I'll see if I can create the same problem you're having on my comp.

I had trouble with 2.0s mp3 player, but 3.0s works fine for me too.

If all your songs are not in the same folder, then you'll either have to manually find them using the generator or manually type the path in the txt file yourself. If they're all in the same folder then click on the add folder button at the top right on the generator then click on the generate button
