We can't judge the websites cuz they got no say in this. Period. It's all up to the modeler.

People would rather have more mirrors than just 1 because its exclusive. Remember, we are hosting these models for the people, not for exclusive rights and popularty, you can gain just as much popularity by letting other hosts host things.

As a person who just downloads the models, not makes them (the consumer, in this case) i rely on these forums.
If something's NSA or T2K exclusive, i won't download it, simple as that. Hell, call me lazy, but i don't want to have to go through a site to download a model when everyone else is just hosting via direct downloads through the forums.
All this competition is useless since you're both non-profit websites, you're not making any money through this and i presume both sites are privately funded, so what's the point? All exclusives are doing is dissuading people from downloading models, and i feel that is completely against the point of making them in the first place.

Ok heres my perspective. You guys can flame me or whatever I dont really care, becuase this feels like the 6th grade again.
No one had a problem with t2k exclusives because, no one else was there to compete model wise. Why would they have exclusives in the first place, when they run every other modeling site out with exclusives? With saying that, i think NSA has the right, and in our own right to host exclusive creations however we please.
NSA does not beg for exclusive models. THe modelers have the right to thier own work, and where its hosted if available. I give modelers a heads up saying i like that model, they say well you can host it exclusive. And this whole warspike **** dont even matter because Andersen was part of NSA before the damn warspike.
I think the only reason t2k is getting frustrated with us, is because we are taking away thier buisness somehow? Im sorry if NSA where i put over 400 dollars in 2 months into has gotten better buisness. YOu think i wanted to host Drakes pistol? Hell yea, but its exclusive and you should respect that. Just because we have exclusives doesnt mean we should change each other systems of hosting just to benefit one another.

The thing i must ask is why "do" exclusives. I know you want traffic to your site and to gain a reputation, but i feel that dividing a community and adding more hassle to the simple task of downloading something is detrimental to the community's growth as a whole.
I'm not in any way slandering either site, it just seems that developing rivalries and competition can have no positive repercussions.
*EDIT: On the other hand, if you were both profit gaining companies i could understand why, but as a non-profit organisation you have nothing to lose and nothing to gain through hosting exclusives.
