<div class="IPBDescription">hi</div> ok...
if you look at this picture: <a href='http://www.freewebs.com/windelkron/tilt2.htm' target='_blank'>http://www.freewebs.com/windelkron/tilt2.htm</a>
compare the grenade sighting rail with the vertical axis. Notice how it's not lined up?
I want to line those up.

In milkshape, I selected all the vertexes and rotated them to my liking; but then when I try to rotate the joints, it's not doing what I want it to. Basically I get a messed up looking diagram. Can anyone teach me how to detilt this model (and keep the animations right) ?
Thank you!!!!!!!!

I think he means .jpg not .html

I would do it myself but my Milkshape has expired <!--emo&--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/mad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='mad.gif'><!--endemo-->

You need to move the bones in animation mode or they'll recompile really whack.

Many models were made for CS tilted like that, I think, so more of them could be seen on-screen without taking up too much space.

actually, I compiled after just detilting the vertices, and it animates fine!

the verticies in the model can be changed, but if you want to chang the BONES... you have to do it for each animation...

the reference .smd contains vertex information, but the animations don't hold any of that, it just holds information on where the bones are moving... and if the bones aren't where they should be....
