I personaly always like a 'back to main page' button some where (posibly a static img up in the top left that just always points back to the main page?)

Splash pages are rather ivul, they only take time to load, I would get rid of that. It would be nice with a small menu on every page, so you could easily jump between sections. And those orange pages hurt my eyes, it's nice with some contrast to the black pages, but maybe tone it down a bit.

It's simple and efficient, but black and white isn't too exciting. Maybe you should try a rainbow of colors? The orange background you have for some pages seems to be a nice contrast.
I like the design and style, something different from most other websites out there. I'm sure it will be even better once you get some content and such.
The only peeve about it at the moment, however, is the snowflakes; They just kinda bug for some reason...
