(Edit) As to the assumed male reference. Look at the sig. :-)
On a side note:
As for making NS plushys Kain-TSA and me investigated this, b/c we were thinking of getting into contact with the NS dev team to have stuffed onos and gorgies made. And we would run the distribution for them
We did some independant research before hand and we came up with this.
After getting permission from owners of of the rights to the gorge, onos etc, getting artwork comissioned to a good plush toy maker, having a prototype shipped back to us and having it agreed upon, then having it contracted to be mass produced, having them shipped to a distribution point, (over seas I might add) paying trade and shippin, customs taxes, having the supply stored someplace, and then the costs of distributing them world wide to all you NS fans, would cost around $6,000+ at the very least bare bones. So it would probably be even more.
Thats per model as in a gorge or onos only.
Oh yea the size and material quality are other expenses that havnt been added in yet.
Thats not including the costs of dividing up royalties to the creators, and legal fees to commercial lawyers for the legal aspects.
And Kain me dont have $8,000+ lying around <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->
Then it's ok. If you're not making money off of it, it's not Copywrite infringment, so it's ok. Correct me if I'm wrong.

You don't have to be making money to violate someone's copyright.
Max
educational purposes are listed under fair use of copyright act
also because it will not replace a product that the ns dev team sells, or do anything to their potential sales it also falls under fair use
might wanna email someone anyways, but legally your [back end] is covered

KEEP US POSTED ON HOW IT TURNS OUT / IS GOING
one can always PM Flayra and ask, he's responded to my rather pointless query's on more than one occasion, and pretty damn promptly too.
