<div class="IPBDescription">The new cd...</div> I was at a music store the other day and noticed Fuel had a new album out by the name of "Natural Selection" and the cover has an image of some blue skeleton fingers, if you blur your eyes for a second it kind of looks like a skulks front on the left and its behind on the right...

Yeah that's something else alright... but there's no mention anywhere i could find on their www or forums about NS. The font's a default Windows font, I think. Times New Rowan or something.

Font is times New Roman. Also it isn't illegal or nothing, as it is totally unrelated to the NS we all know and love, the gaming type. Although it is a nice thing to have in your collection ^_^

The name "natural selection" is copyrighted though. But it only goes for game products AFAIK.

Yeah, Fuel isnt bad because they named their Album Natural Selection. In fact, I think thats my favorite album from them.

IANAL, but copyrights does not cover names. Trademarks do, and they cover the name no matter what it's for.

If you read the FAQ, there is a mention of an old FOX Interactive game that had to change its name because Natural Selection <b>is</b> trademarked. Considering that this is a music CD and not a game, that the logo used for the CD does not look too much like the NS logo, and that Flayra has many better things to worry about, I think legal action would be utterly pointless.

No, Fuel, I think the band has been around a bit longer than you have.

Even assuming that somebody would be able to sue Fuel (the band) and win, it would be dumb. Sueing-your-fans dumb. Lawsuits rarely solve anything, but are pretty good at making things worse.

natural selection is an idea created by a guy or something to explina to world and how some species survive over others etc, its not the mods creation.
