Hltv Problems With Won

Heya Guys, I wanted to start this thread in reguards to HLTV. I am still using WON system and last week I hosted the Semi Finals of UGL. If anyone was there it was ultra laggy. The DUAL CPUs never reached over 4% CPU Usage. The Ram was always over a Gig Free and the hard drive is SCSI. The bandwidth was enough to support close to 10000 HLTV Players (2, 100Mbits). Anyway, I don't know any commands that might settle this. I did run a relay on that same box, was that a bad idea? Any commands I should run? Your support will make this Upcoming week in UGL smooth and clean for your views. Thanks any help you can provide.

    Curious as to what the problem was too. BTW, UGL already has a host setting up HLTV for tonight's match.

    I'm sorry, I believe it is CAL. My fault. <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo--> Anyway the fact still remains I don't know what can possibly be wrong.

    I used the Cal Config.

    // ======================================================================================
    //CAL NS HLTV configuration file
    //Place this cfg in your default HL folder (or wherever the HLTV exe is)
    //Exec this file by typing "exec calnshltv.cfg" in the HLTV console or through HLTV rcon
    //For more information on HLTV, consult the Readme or <a href='http://www.slipgate.de/' target='_blank'>http://www.slipgate.de/</a>
    // ======================CAL NS HLTV config -- modified 9/1/03===========================

    delay 90.0 // delays game for 60 seconds
    multicast 0 // multicast disabled
    rate 10000 // amount of data proxy gets from match server
    maxclientrate 10000 // maximum client data from HLTV proxy
    updaterate 20 // get 20 updates per second from server
    logfile 1 // log events in proxy.log
    chatmode 1 // local chatting on
    autoretry 1
    name "CAL NS HLTV"
    hostname "CAL NS HLTV Broadcast"

    nomaster 1

    offlinetext "Sorry, game is delayed. Be patient while the fun begins."

    allowjoingame 0

    // incoming voice data is blocked
    blockvoice 1

    adminpassword <password> // proxy's admin password for rcon, commentator etc. (like server rcon)
    //serverpassword <password> // server password (that HLTV will be connecting to)
    //proxypassword <password> // protects proxy against unwanted relay proxies
    spectatorpassword <password> // If your HLTV will have spectators, you'll need to provide them with this password.

    // show message for 5 seconds each 120 seconds in center of X axis (-1) and
    // above help text bar (0.85). Color given as hexadecimal RGBA .
    localmsg "CAL NS HLTV Broadcast" 90 5 -1 0.825 FFA000FF

    // these commands will be executed on connecting spectator client and may be used
    // to adjust settings for HLTV (for example voice parameters)
    signoncommands "voice_scale 2; voice_overdrive 16; volume 0.5; echo Voice adjusted for NS-HLTV"

    slowmotion 0.5 0 // turns off slowmotion -- set to 0.5 0.2 as default

    I do believe the CAL Config is outdated. I got all sorts of errors trying to use it!

    I used the default hltv.cfg, and just edited it to suit the need. <!--emo&::nerdy::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/nerd.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='nerd.gif'><!--endemo-->
